Report abuse
Last updated: October 18th 2026
FliQR hosts files that its users choose to share. We do not look at these files, but we act quickly when we are told that one of them is illegal or breaks our Terms of service. This page explains how to tell us, and what happens next, as required by the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
1. How to report a file
The fastest way is the “Report this file” link shown on every download page. Choose a reason, add any detail that helps us, and leave your email address if you want to hear back from us.
You can also write to team@fliqr.codes. To let us act without delay, your notice should include:
- the link to the file (for example
https://fliqr.codes/file/…, or the link behind the QR code); - why you believe the content is illegal or breaks our terms; for copyright, the work concerned and your right to act for its owner;
- your name and email address, unless the report concerns child sexual abuse material;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.
2. What happens next
Every notice is reviewed by a person, in the order of urgency. When the content is illegal or breaks our terms, we cut the link at once: the file can no longer be downloaded and its QR code shows that it was removed. We may keep the file for a limited time when the law requires it, or to answer the authorities.
If you left an email address, we tell you what we decided. When the uploader has an account, we tell them too and give the reasons for our decision (statement of reasons), unless the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it. Uploaders who repeatedly share manifestly illegal content lose their account.
When a file suggests that someone's life or safety is threatened, we inform the competent authorities. For child sexual abuse material, you can also report it to a hotline of the INHOPE network or to the police.
3. Contesting a decision
The uploader of a removed file, and anyone who reported a file, can contest our decision within six months by writing to team@fliqr.codes with the link to the file. A person who did not take the first decision reviews the case and we reply with the outcome. You can also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, or to a court.
We may stop handling the notices of someone who frequently sends manifestly unfounded ones, after warning them.
4. Points of contact
Users, rights holders and the authorities of the EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services can reach us at team@fliqr.codes, in English or French.
